Easy Translator 9.4 for Windows enables users to easily translate Web text, business correspondence, chats, emails and many other types of content in 81 languages. While other online translators can be awkward and difficult to maneuver, Easy Translator either interprets whole pieces of content or simple single words; users enter the content they would like interpreted, then they select the "Translate" option. The screen is sectioned into two panes, the top section allows users to enter the content they would like translated while the bottom pane displays the translated text.

To begin, users should first input the text they would like translated. Users can input their text into the panes in the typical ways designated to input content into a program. Users can Copy and Paste, drag and drop, or simply open the document. Easy Translator 9.4 will open just about any file format; however, due to the basic nature of this program, any content other than pure text will translate as distorted characters. The rudimentary nature of the program does not distinguish the intricacies of context and symbols. Once the content is planed into the top pane, users have to pick the appropriate language in which to translate the content into. When the desired languages have been set, and the TRANSLATE option selected, all users have to do is wait for the program to translate the content. This may take some time, depending on the length of text that has been input. Once the program has successfully completed its translation, users can Copy and Paste, drag and drop, or save the content. If more text needs to be translated, clear both panes and repeat the process.

A great feature of Easy Translator is its ability to automatically distinguish the language in which it is about to interpret. In addition, the program provides a text-to-speech (TTS) feature for 45 languages, which teaches users the correct pronunciation of words. It also allows users to convert the translated text to MP3 files, so users can download the files to their devices and listen to the translation whenever and wherever. Easy Translator also has Print application and keyboard shortcuts options.

Overall, Easy Translator is a basic yet proficient enough translation program that performs simple interpretations between different languages. The program is easy to learn, and very little aptitude is needed to use the program efficiently. However, since it is just a basic program, advanced options for dealing with Linguistic nuances, sentence structure, as well as colloquial sayings, slang and certain technical terms are often misinterpreted or just plain incorrect. Easy Translator is a good program for giving users a general idea of what the original text is saying, but as stated previously, it is best used for single words or very short phrases.
